Kayla Brooks is the founder of Anchor Point Therapy & Consulting and has been practicing occupational therapy since 2014. She earned her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor's degree in Human Performance and Health, and a minor in Communication Studies from West Virginia University.
Throughout her career, Kayla has worked across skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, outpatient therapy, and school-based practice, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the continuum of care. Her experience includes supervising therapy staff, conducting evaluations, leading quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with educators and families to help children achieve meaningful, functional outcomes.
Kayla is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in Healthcare, an LSVT BIG Certified Clinician, and is completing the School-Based Sensory Intensive Certification through the STAR Institute. She founded Anchor Point Therapy & Consulting with the vision of creating a trusted local therapy partner that values collaboration, reliability, and compassionate, individualized care.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and making memories with family and friends. She believes the strongest therapy outcomes are built through meaningful relationships and is passionate about helping children develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed both in school and in everyday life.
Ashley has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) since 2015 and brings over a decade of experience serving children and families across South Texas. Throughout her career, she has worked in school-based therapy, pediatric home health, outpatient pediatric rehabilitation, and skilled nursing, providing compassionate, individualized care to clients of all ages.
Ashley is passionate about helping each child develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in everyday life. She enjoys collaborating with families, educators, and therapy teams to create meaningful, functional outcomes that support independence both in the classroom and beyond. Her experience includes working with children with autism, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and a variety of fine and gross motor challenges.
A graduate of Del Mar College's Occupational Therapy Assistant program, Ashley is known for her accountability, positive attitude, and genuine commitment to helping others reach their fullest potential.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her dogs, tending to her garden, and traveling to explore new places. She believes maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life helps her bring energy, creativity, and compassion to every child she serves.
